Ruswin Celebrates 50 Years

Ruswin recently marked a remarkable achievement – 50 years of successful operations in the business. 

Established over half a century ago, Ruswin has evolved from a locksmithing enterprise to a leading provider of cutting-edge integrated electronic and mechanical security systems. Over the years, our products and systems have been meticulously developed to cater to basic security needs for homes and small businesses, as well as to meet the complex requirements of large commercial and government clients.

In the dynamic landscape of our industry, technology advances rapidly. Ruswin remains at the forefront, actively engaging in the research and development of new systems, products, and solutions. We take pride in staying abreast of the latest technological trends and offering our clients the most up-to-date security products and solutions.

To commemorate this milestone, Ruswin gathered current and former employees, along with their partners, in Townsville. The event featured stories from key figures such as founder Robert Rushton, current Managing Director Stan Neal, General Manager Stuart Neal, and Ruswin Papua New Guinea General Manager Kevin Buckby. 

From its humble beginnings on Kings Road, Townsville, Ruswin has transformed into an international security company with a presence in 14 locations, including Townsville, Mount Isa, Mackay, Rockhampton, Emerald, Gladstone, Cairns, Singapore, Jakarta, Bali, Port Moresby, Lae, Suva, and Nadi.

Welcoming Ruswin staff from central and northern Queensland, as well as Ruswin Indonesian General Manager Sean Cottrell, under one roof to celebrate the company's longevity was truly an honor. This milestone stands as a testament to the dedication and hard work of our current and past employees – without them, this achievement would not have been possible. We take immense pride in our journey and look forward to many more years of success.
